Abstract:	Healthcare establishments are considered energy-intensive buildings, mainly due to their operational characteristics, operating time and their high-power equipment with high energy consumption. Therefore, it is necessary to develop tools that assist in planning and managing the energy consumption of these buildings, considering the implementation of energy efficiency measures. Due to such demand, this research aims to develop the information requirements for the development of a software tool that aims to assist decision makers in Health Care Establishments – EAS in energy planning and management with a focus on energy efficiency. The structure of the information requirements was based on the logical reasoning of the Balanced Scorecard and the Scorecard proposed by the Building Research Establishment for the Built Environment Innovation and Sustainability Park. It is made up of categories, principles and criteria that correlate, ensuring that the same requirements related to the planning stage can be adapted and applied in other phases of the building's life cycle. Furthermore, it was also defined based on technical scientific documents, legal and regulatory requirements and standards of good practice on the topic. After developing the information requirements requirements, they were subjected to validation by experts and hospital professionals through workshops and interviews. As a result of the validation process, the final version of these requirements was obtained, consisting of 10 categories, divided according to the building's life cycle, 23 principles and 51 criteria. The tool developed in this research allows a systemic view of the requirements necessary for the effective implementation of energy efficiency in hospitals, supporting managers and technicians. Finally, the tool can be applied as a guide for planning the implementation of energy efficiency and/or as a training tool for those responsible.
