Abstract:	The current article aims to contribute with a reflection about the socio-environmental importance and the bio-cultural memory of the free spaces in the peripheries in Lima called "barriadas" located in the capital city of Peru. This work is based through the well-being conception and approaches to rescue invisible knowledge by the colonialist, capitalist and patriarchal domination present at the Eurocentric modernity. Lima is a dualistic city because of its growth, white and colonial center-capitalist that pushes and marginalizes vulnerable population to peripheries (VERISSIMO, 2013) It causes lack of adequate housing, work, health, education and green areas. Lima's topography is abrupt and the lack of habitable ground in the central frame of the city caused by the real-estate obligates people to occupy arid spaces at the mountainous edge of the city (located in the Pacific Desert eco-region) without infrastructure, services or non public spaces. The self-organization and the space approation are strategies to survive because of the peruvian government's ausence. That is why we use Decolonial Theories created by authors like Walter Mignolo, Enrique Dussel and Anibal Quijano and South Designs to the pluriverse (BORRERO, 2105; ESCOBAR, 2016) to understand others-designs created by the alterity demonstrating that there are many other worlds in the world. After this, from the South Epistemologies we will propose the "South Landscaping" idea.
Resumen:	El presente artículo pretende contribuir con la reflexión respecto a la importancia socio ambiental y la memoria biocultural de los espacios libres en el contexto de las barriadas de Lima, capital del Perú. Teniendo como objetivos el Buen Vivir, a través del rescate de los conocimientos invisibilizados por la dominación colonialista, capitalista y patriarcal de la modernidad eurocéntrica. Siendo Lima, una ciudad dualista debido al crecimiento del centro capitalista, blanco y colonial de la ciudad esta empuja y margina a las poblaciones hacia la periferia (VERÍSSIMO, 2013), dejándolas sin vivienda adecuada, trabajo, salud, educación o áreas verdes. La topografía del sitio es abrupta, la falta de suelo habitable en el centro plano de la ciudad por cuenta de la especulación inmobiliaria, obliga a los pobladores a ocupar espacios áridos en el borde montañoso de la ciudad (Ecorregión del Desierto del Pacífico) sin infraestructuras, servicios, ni espacios públicos. La auto organización y apropiación del espacio son estrategias de sobrevivencia en la ausencia por parte del Estado peruano. Así, utilizamos a la teoría del llamada Giro Decolonial (Walter Mignolo, Enrique Dussel y Aníbal Quijano) y de los Diseños del Sur hacia el pluriverso (BORRERO, 2015;ESCOBAR, 2016) para entender diseños-otros creados por la alteridad demostrando que existen muchos mundos en el mundo. Para posteriormente, a partir de las Epistemologías del Sur (SANTOS, 2010) proponer la idea de "Paisajismos del Sur".
