Educação e religiosidades afro-brasileiras : a experiência dos candomblés

Abstract

O texto apresenta algumas linhas gerais de compreensão dos candomblés como importantes tópicos da cultura afro-brasileira. O contexto de apresentação destas idéias é a implementação das modificações na LDB, no que diz respeito à introdução da história e cultura africanas e afro-brasileiras nos currículos da educação básica, rumo a uma educação para a diversidade. Os candomblés oferecem uma maneira particular de interpretação do mundo, que enfatiza a ligação com a história da própria comunidade, a ancestralidade e a negociação dos espaços de intervenção com o próprio sagrado. Neste contexto, os marcados pela a valorização das diferenças podem contribuir para uma nova maneira de interpretar a educação, de modo a oferecer um espaço de desenvolvimento para educandas. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

This text presents some ideas for the understanding of important topics of Candomblé as Afro-Brazilian culture. The context for the presentation of these ideas is the implementation of changes in the LDB with regard to the introduction of history and African culture and African-Brazilian in the curricula of basic education, towards education for diversity. The Candomblé offer a particular way of interpreting the world, which emphasizes the link with the history of the community, the ancestry and the negotiation of the spaces of intervention by sacred. In this context, it can contribute to a new way of interpreting the education to provide a space for development of students marked by the appreciation of the differences.
