Abstract: O estudo teve como objetivo analisar os impactos da pandemia de Covid-19 nas taxasde empreendedorismo no Brasil no ano de 2020. A metodologia utilizada foi do tipo bibliográfica, caracterizada como exploratória, quantitativa e documental, com dados da pesquisa sobre empreendedorismo realizada pelo Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, em parceria com o SEBRAE e o IBQP e da pesquisa de desemprego realizada pelo IBGE de 2017 a 2020. A pesquisa mostrou que a pandemia da Covid-19 reduziu a taxa de empreendedorismo e aumentou a taxa de empreendedores nascentes devido ao aumento do desemprego.
Abstract: The study aimed to analyze the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on entrepreneurship rates in Brazil in the year 2020. The methodology used was of the bibliographic type, characterized as exploratory, quantitative, and documental, with data from the research on entrepreneurship carried out by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, in partnership with SEBRAE and IBQP and the unemployment survey carried out by the IBGE from 2017 to 2020. The research showed that the Covid-19 pandemic reduced the rate of entrepreneurship and increased the rate of nascent entrepreneurs due to increased unemployment.
