| Abstract: | In 1981 in the United States, the first reports of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, better known as AIDS, appeared at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In 1983, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) was identified, which is the etiological agent of the syndrome (Rachid, 2017). Second epidemiological bulletin on HIV/AIDS, from the Department of Chronic Diseases and Sexually Transmitted Infections, from the Health Surveillance Secretariat, from the Ministry of Health (DCCI/SVS/MS), published in December 2023, based on data collected Until June 2022, 114,593 (23.4%) cases were registered in young people between 15 and 24 years old, 25% in men and 19.6% in women. Which shows the importance of public policies aimed at this group. In individuals aged 13 or over, the main form of exposure in males was that of MSM, with 52.6% and in females, heterosexual practice recorded 86.4% of cases. The research aims to analyze the educommunicative characteristics of thematic productions on HIV/AIDS produced by the Ministry of Health aimed at young audiences. And it has a qualitative approach carried out in a workshop with young people aged 15 to 24 from the five regions of Brazil, but this research only presents a focus on the Central-West region. The qualitative approach is carried out with the application of three instruments, the first is the profile of the participants that seeks to get to know young people, and their relationship with the topic of HIV/Aids, STIs and viral hepatitis, and where they seek information that can contribute to promoting health and disease prevention; the second is EducaIndex whose objective is to evaluate three Ministry of Health campaigns in different formats, being a poster, a jingle/audio and a video. The EducaIndex is divided into three central assessment axes, the first is focused on conceptual approaches taking into account the variables of importance and content; the second is focused on the pedagogical approach, composed of the variables of usability, applicability and suitability for the intended audience; the third and final axis is communicational, which has as a variable the availability and language used in productions. The third quantitative instrument is the methodological evaluation of the workshop that validates the script executed in the field. Qualitative analysis is carried out during the development of the workshop, which lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, with a minimum of three and a maximum of 20 participants. The research spoke to 643 young people, the Central-West region had 258 participants, 82 men and 175 women. And according to their evaluation, the piece of communication evaluated with the lowest quality is the video, but this evaluation changes when evaluating by axis. |
