| Abstract: | This work is the result of the exercise of producing individual and collective knowledge made up by children and adults in the Paranoá Learning Community (CAP). The general objective was forged through analyzing the potential of educational praxis, from the methodology of study of the environment, through the research-action with children from the initial years of schooling. We found correspondences and similarities between research-action and environmental study, as methods and methodologies of practical- theoretical support for a geographic education, aimed at the territorialization of the children of the Beija-flor class in the 2nd year of elementary school I. Based on this, we were able to constitute a praxis articulated with the dialogical principles of loving, autonomy and active participation. This elaboration presupposed authorial creations that systematized knowledge as a collective work on the children's home locations. In the process of elaborating the environmental study with children, we found an opening for a dialogue with family members and the first residents, in which looks, voices and listening formed the structural pillars of this elaboration. The geographies-stories about and in Paranoá and Itapoã were signified in the experiences, as a starting point and a way to strengthen the sense of belonging to the territory. This process combined a diversity of methodological procedures carried out throughout the dialectic-in-practice curriculum, namely: the collective oral and written texts, carried out in the dialogues and the production of the installation: “Collectors from Paranoá and Itapoã”, as a synthesis of the environmental study. Based on these actions, we focus on the analysis of the co-production of information and discover contributions for contextualized learning and welcoming readings and writings within the school's space-time. Children demonstrate that producing knowledge through dialogue allows us, children and adults, to create, in a loving and political way, the school of their territory. |
