Abstract:	The Architectural Ensemble of the Army Headquarters in Brasília has the uniqueness provided by the use of prefabrication on a monumental and representative scale in the work of Oscar Niemeyer. The topic addressed raises questions for the history of Brazilian architecture, for a trajectory and work by Niemeyer. The issues raised can contribute to new reflections. The historiographic gap in the Architectural Ensemble, the continuation of a constructive experimentation initiated on the campus of the University of Brasilia and a Niemeyer relationship with the Army are some of the questions that allow us to read the analysis of the test edition and revealed technical drawings. The historiographical study of the Army Palace, a term that will be justified in the dissertation, will present the characteristics and developments that highlight the architectural importance of the complex. An unprecedented graphic material, plans, cuts and sketches are grouped and are presented for a better understanding of the architectural ensemble. From this material, a virtual modeling of the constructive system of the generals' block is elaborated for analysis and better understanding of the system. The juxtaposition of the chronologies of Niemeyer's works, identifies a period of intersection between palaces and prefabrication, resulting in the Prefabricated Palace in Brasília.
