Abstract:	The main object of this research is to analyse the performance of the D.F. public libraries, conceming its services and informations for the citizens of each informations for the citizens of each community where they are located. The research has been made according to the opinion of users and none users of the public libraries located on Plano Piloto, Sobradinho, Ceilandia and S. Sebastiao. According to the results we noticed that there isn't any kind of information for the public and the community on D.F. There isn't any study of researches that identifies the need for information to the communities where the libraries are located at. There isnt any research or study about the social, economical and cultural profile of the communities they serve. It also shows us the major need of the existence of this services for the public library integration. If available these services would really help to solve the daily problems of the community. This would tum the public libraries into important institutions to the development of the life quality on the whole community. The work proposes the creation of informational series to the community based on its necessities. Organizing it in procedures and goals which will supply its necessities. The necessity to preserve the cycle of the knowledge decreasing the lock of equilibrium and opportunities on our society. This is the major priority of the public libraries. Supplying the needs of those who they serve means to create conditions for ali to participate on the development of our society.
