Abstract:	The Mid- West region is one of the Brazilian regions where agriculture has a differentiated performance, recognized in a consensual way. The overall objective of this work was to evaluate the links between the agriculture and livestock sectors in the Mid-West region, by highlighting their most influential sectors of activity. In this work, the National Product Input Matrix of 2013 was estimated using the methodology of Guilhoto and Sesso Filho (2005) and Guilhoto (2011), with national accounts data provided by IBGE.Through this matrix technic, the Brazilian coefficient matrix was calculated for the year 2013. By using the location quotient method, this technic was used to calculate the technical coefficients for the Mid-West Region in the same year. The study showed that the following sectors: livestock, including support for livestock (2) and agriculture, including support to agriculture and post-harvest (1), provided more employments with the high pay rates, following by sectors: sugar production and refining (9) and wood product manufacturing (16). In the narrow sense, these sectors: Other food products (10); Textile manufacturing (13) andpulp and paper and paper product manufacturing (17) were considered like key sectors of this economy. In the least restrictive sense, the following sectors: slaughter products and meat products, including dairy products and fishery products (8); Biofuel manufacturing (20); Sugar production and refining (9) and agriculture, including support to agriculture and post-harvest (1), were considered key sectors of the economy. In relation to the increase in production, the sectors: sectors: slaughter products andmeat products, including dairy products and fishery products (8); Other food products (10); Biofuel manufacturing (20) and textile manufacturing (13) were considered the most influential.
