| Abstract: | This investigation aims mainly to analize the dialectic-dialogic exchange between Popular Education and Youth, Adult, Elder and Workers Education in a Paranoá (Federal District) Escola Classe (Classroom School) that is part of the Brazilian Public Schools Network. This aim emerged as a necessity for the historical partnership between the Popular Education and Cultural-Historical and Philosophical Studies Science Outreach and Research Group - Genpex/FE/UnB and the Paranoá Center for Culture and Development (Cedep) (such partnership started in 1985). This work-partnership has as its main matrix of analysis the Marxist cultural-historical perspective on human development (VIGOTSKI, 2000) and human constitution as well as the entanglement of the “being of love-power-knowledge” (REIS, 2000; 2011). To reach this aim, I employ the qualitative methodology of the Action Research based on Marxist thought. Such methodology provides me with the means and the technical procedures to accomplish what I aim to do as a scientist: not just to interpret the world but to change it (MARX and ENGELS, 1998, Theses On Feuerbach, p. 103- XI). My general aim gives rise to three specific aims. Firstly, to problematize the historicity and the process of constitution of Popular Education and Youth, Adult, Elder and Workers Education. I understand that to vindicate such historicity is also to bring back the voices and meanings from the past – voices that are present and constitute both fields. Voices and meanings that live (BAKHTIN, 2010) (VIGOTSKI, 2000). Word that isn’t meaningless, but plenty of significations. The meaning of these word is given by a context that need to be discovered and interpreted. Secondly, I seek to grasp the singularity of Popular Education in Paranoá-Itapoã. To do so, I analyze four works: Reis (2011), Lima (1999), Jesus (2007) and Viana (2012). Those are researches that investigate the effect-repercussion of Popular Education in the lives of the subjects: learners, educators, and researcher-students of the University of Brasilia. Finally, I join the conversation that has been going on since 2015 between the University of Brasilia, the Escola Classe (Classroom School) and the People's Movement and give a contribution to it. During such process, I find myself facing several “us”. I mean “us” in their multiple meanings: link, collective, union, conflict, dispute, situation-problem-challenge, drama. “Us” that are the very movement of tying/untying, of advancing/not advancing/retreating in search of the dialogic-dialectics between Popular Education and Youth, Adult, Elder and Workers Education. Dialogic-Dialectics is thus the main aim of this work. I understand such dialogic-dialectics to be under construction. It is not a given, but rather it must be achieved with time and a lot of work. That Dialogic-Dialectics implies an inner disarmament so that one can place oneself in relation to the Other. This disarmament is neither self-denial nor a denial of the reality of conflict and divergence. It is rather an acknowledgement of the fact that I only am in relation to the Other: “The efficiency of the event does lie in the fusion of all into a whole but rather in the very tension of my distance and my immiscibility, in the use of the privilege of being in my unique place of existence outside the other” (BAKHTIN, 2010). Such Dialogic-Dialectics takes place as a tense relation but such relation is first and foremost a relation of reception and affirmation of myself and the other. |
