Abstract:	Prior to the MSP program, MS is aware that indigenous health has always been marked by the absence of doctors in the Multidisciplinary Teams of Indigenous Health (EMSI) who work in the territories under the coordination of the Special Indigenous Sanitary Districts (DSEIs). From 2013, this reality was changed, with the implementation of the emergency provision axis through the PMM in the Districts, improving not only PHC, but also the National Policy on Health Care for Indigenous Peoples (PNASPI) under the coordination of the Special Secretariat of Indigenous Health (SESAI) of the MS. This dissertation aimed to analyze the profile and coverage of the professionals of the Mais Médicos Project in indigenous health in Brazil. This is a descriptive ecological quantitative study, carried out in 34 DSEIs, based on data from the E-SUS Mais Médicos. The population and sample of the study correspond to the 352 physicians of the PMMB operating in the 34 Districts of the Country in the year 2017. An analysis was made through descriptive statistics and elaboration of distribution and central tendency measures. The main results indicate that doctors are mostly male (88.4%), Cuban (92%), cooperative exchanges (92%), age group between 25 and 39 years old (62.8%) and 57, 1% are concentrated in the North. The physician / population coverage was 7.0 physicians per 10,000 indigenous; of the 34 DSEIs, 14 (41%) had physician rates below those observed in the total districts and 33 below the national average; and, ten districts presented a rate formed in their entirety by program physicians. It is noteworthy that although the PMM is considered to have a positive impact on indigenous health, the vacancies that exist are still considered insufficient to achieve the desirable coverage of PHC in that territory and, in the presence of the doctors who are included in the 34 DSEIs, these are still districts.
