Abstract:	The objective of this work is to propose the adoption of predictive genetic mapping as a factor to promote worker health, as well as the respective legal certainty regarding its use and criteria for this. This legal certainty, in the form of a law, must include, from a systemic perspective, the prevention of the effects arising from such adoption, such as discrimination and confidentiality of results. The study has as scope Bioethics dialogue in the interface between the Medicine of Work and Genetics. Bioethics is seen as a bridge that can help the understanding of this research proposal, given its greater foundation, alterity, and the ensuing principle of dignity, the focus of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of 1948, Universal Declaration On Bioethics and Human Rights, and the Constitution of the Federative Republic of Brazil of 1988, are the common reference points for this dialogue. In this sense, the foundation and principles of Bioethics have been described, characterized by the advances of Genetics in the perspective of Biology and extensive to Occupational Medicine, as well as the frameworks of international organisms on the subject, as well as laws of European and North American countries, investigating legal content relating to genetic issues, including draft laws. Regarding genetic mapping, specifically, no legal apparatus was found, despite the general interest that has already been observed in relation to the use of this technology. The proposal of this study is therefore justified.
