Abstract: The purpose of this research is to recognise the current settings in Marajo-PA been legacy of colonialism that conduct for a political stance of conflict-keeping where quilombos appear in disadvantage in face of negotiations, as in the case of quilombos from Gurupa-PA. In the end of 2009 the rice farmers arrived in Marajo, after Supreme Federal Court determined the withdrew of them from Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Territory, in Roraima, local of conflicts with indigenous. The farmers, occupying extensions land next to quilombos, as in Gurupá, unleashed territorial disputes resulted by the use of territories and naturals resources important to the communities survival. In addition to these occurrences, there are decades of territorial conflicts with old-farmers have not been solved. In this context, having as problematic the troubling territorial conflicts between quilombos and farmers, was used the field research and interviews in order to identify the agentes, aliances, performance forms, aims, interests and the strategies. Thereafter, the kinds of conflicts and its influences in territorial dynamic were indicated with cartographic production. The conflicts identified were specific, pressure, circulation, institutional, overlap, juridical and administrative, hydric resource, use of chemical products and interests. These conflicts cover territories with social characteristics and envioronments, essentials to quilombolas survive, as hydric resource, food source froom Arari river and from gathering of acai fruit – principal element of local economy. In terms of mapping, the method proved be relevant, revealing the agentes complexity besides to identify and map ten conflicts, the next actions was organize them according to importance level of each one to the comunity, having the emergency of aim at solutions to the quilombolas' territorial organizations and current conflicts solutions. It was observed that the first to be solved is the one about quilombolas lands titling and it cooperate to resolve any other internal conflicts of territory , as example, the specific, overlap and circulation. Going ahead in the analisys is importante the conflicts resolution that is not limited in the intern territory from Gurupa, that is, is essential to overcome these limits, that happen in surrounding area, in the local of quilombolas activities area is historically relevant to the production, as conflictual cases in the use of resources, for pression in function of expantion territorial the external agentes to quilombo and for participation of the comunities in the decisions maked. Therefore, the rice-growing, in order to expand the rice production in aliances with public offices of Para and old-farmers, have as result territorial conflicts with quilombolas, hitting sources, reducting the natural resources and the comunities’ circulation liberty. Thus, as recomendations, the research was conducted in target to expedite the emission of quilombolas property titles by INCRA and the creation of Environmental Impact Study / Environmental Impact Report in the farms by SEMA, as well as the impact avaliation of the agrotoxis usage, the agent sanctions that violate the ambiental laws and the quilombolas' rights. The state and local governments, have to narrow the dialogue with quilombolas, realizing legitimate means of conflict solutions, using the cartography in the control and monitoring, creating ways in objetive to increase the comunities participation, and adopting precautionary measures to avoid new conflicts and the perpetuation of old ones.
