Abstract

A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo fazer uma análise das relações de gênero no âmbito da estrutura institucional, apontando elementos caracterizadores de dominação e subordinação que ocorrem na esfera privada e que possuem reflexos sobre a atuação parlamentar feminina no Congresso Nacional. Aborda, especificamente, a presença e atuação de senadoras e deputadas da 52ª Legislatura (2003-2006), ressaltando fatores presentes no perfil e trajetória política das congressistas que podem ter reflexo sobre suas práticas legislativas. Para tanto, além da coleta de informações biográficas e de trajetória política, foi realizado um levantamento sobre a produção legislativa e participação de senadoras e deputadas nas comissões, que permitisse apreender as similitudes e diferenças sobre suas formas de atuação legislativa. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

The following research focuses on the analysis of gender relations in the scope of the institutional structure, pointing elements of domination and subordination that occurs in the private sphere that influences under the feminine parliamentary action in the National Congress. It approaches, specifically, the presence and the action of parliamentary women of the Senate and of the Chamber of Representatives in Brazil on the 52nd Legislature (2003-2006), standing out factors in the profile and in the politic trajectory of theses women which can influence on their legislative practical. For that, beyond the collection of biographical data, it has been made a survey on the legislative production and participation of women in the commissions of the Senate and the Chamber of Representatives, which made possible to apprehend the similitude and differences under their legislative actions.
