Eles não usam black-tie : da profecia cênica ao documentário fílmico

Abstract

A partir de um panorama histórico-teatral, este trabalho analisa comparativamente a peça Eles não usam black-tie, de Gianfrancesco Guarnieri (1958) e o filme homônimo (1981) com direção de Leon Hirszman. Demonstramos que o texto de Guarnieri, que inaugura tardiamente o protagonismo da classe operária brasileira em nossa dramaturgia, na transposição da linguagem teatral para a linguagem cinematográfica, sofre significativas mudanças, ditadas pelos momentos diversos de nossa história política. Desta forma, percebemos como, a partir de nossa matéria estética, podemos compreender o nosso devir histórico. ______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

From a historical and theatrical panorama, this works analyses comparatively the play Eles não usam Black-tie, by Gianfrancesco Guarnieri (1958) and the homonym movie (1981) with the direction of Leon Hirszman. Demonstrated that Guarnieri text, opening late in the leadership of the Brazilian working class in our drama, in transposing theatrical language to cinematic language, undergoes significant changes, dictated by the different moments of our political history. Thus, we see how, from our aesthetic matters, we understand our historical development.
