Abstract:	Bananas are a commodity of great importance on the international market. Brazil is one of the greatest exporters of this fruit. On the internal market, the fruit has great importance mainly because of its presence in daily recipes being. Furthermore, the crop is rich in essential nutrients, such as potassium, vitamin C and fiber, which significantly contributes to a balanced. In this context, this study aims to measure production, yield, agronomic performance, physical and chemical characteristics, incidence and severity of Yellow Sigatoka, Weevil infestation and post-harvest preservation and storage technology of four banana cultivars (Grand Naine, Prata Ana, BRS Tropical, and BRS Conquista) in the Federal District. The cultivars were submitted to five different irrigation regimes and different chemical fertilizer dosages between 2018 and 2023. The goal was to determine the optimal irrigation and fertilization practices for these cultivars and to make regional crop predictions. The field experiments were conducted on Fazenda Água Limpa, UnB-Brasília property. The incidence and severity of Yellow Sigatoka and Weevil infestation analysis were made twice a year (dry and rainy seasons). Agronomic performance measurements (fruits quantity and weight) were made weekly. The agronomic performance of the Grand Naine cultivar was influenced by the interaction between water replacement and nitrogen fertilization. This interaction can also be seen with the Prata Ana cultivar, which showed significant effects of this interaction also with phosphate fertilization. The BRS Conquista cultivar showed an effect due to the combination of water replacement and magnesium fertilization, and potassium fertilization had an impact on the performance of BRS Tropical. Furthermore, the doses of gypsum applied influenced the performance and quality of the fruits of the Grand Naine and Prata Ana cultivars. With the purpose of evaluating the physical and chemical characteristics of the fruits, by nature, physical characterization of the samples (color, chamber and ambient temperature), was performed in two conditions of storage (cold chamber and ambient temperature), in the physical laboratory, demonstrating no significant statistical effect observed on the characteristics evaluated in relation to the storage conditions. Although, the four species were in terms with tolerant, in quality standards. Among the cultivars studied, the varieties that proved to be most resistant, in relation to the incidence and severity of the yellow Sigatoka disease, were the cultivars BRS Tropical and BRS Conquista, with the others being more susceptible to the disease, regardless of the treatments studied. Banana mole infestation, in turn, did not show a direct relationship with the cultivar, with evaluations of banana mole showing a level below pest control.
