Abstract:	Nowadays, in many Brazilian schools, there is a daily life characterized by multiple manifestations of violence. This issue is constantly made public, whether through various media outlets or in the daily lives of school establishments. It is public and well known that schools in the Federal District, more specifically, suffer from this phenomenon. School violence can be subdivided into three distinct forms or modes of manifestation. Thus, the expression violence in the school environment, or just school violence, characterizes a generic form, which encompasses three different forms: that which occurs in the school space; that directed to the institution and those who represent it; and the institutional, symbolic, of the school institution itself and its various agents. There is a scenario with a considerable increase in different manifestations of violence in schools in Brazil, in recent years, and, more especially, from the year 2016 to the present day (2024), a period marked intensely in the scenario of Brazilian electoral politician. After the impeachment suffered by the Dilma government, the number of attacks on schools increased, including extreme attacks, with an increase in the incidence of violence at school and against the school, manifested through the most diverse types and forms, covering expressions that include issues of race and gender. The present work sought to investigate, through open semistructured interviews with teachers and management team of a public and peripheral school in the Federal District, the manifestations of violence that occurred at the school between the years 2016 to the present day, in parallel with attacks suffered by other schools, published in various media outlets, which generated extensive documentary production by education sectors also analyzed. Different social and political conditions in the period studied fostered a particular scenario of manifestations of violence in schools, concluding that a more humane societal project was necessary to mitigate this situation.
