Abstract:	This study aims to analyze the prose works of Conceição Evaristo, from the perspective of decolonial black feminism. The focus for this analysis is the representation of violence. The corollaries of violence will also be observed, such as forced displacement, the exploitation of Afro-descendant populations and their consequent poverty, and the structural racism that is at the root of all other violence. This theme is imperative in a study of Afro-Brazilian literature from a decolonial perspective, as it appears in many works, as it is part of the daily lives of subordinated classes, especially black women. Human displacement is also a common theme in these contexts, which is why its representation in literary works is recurrent. Therefore, it is necessary to highlight its relationship with contemporary Brazilian literature and with the literary production of Conceição Evaristo. The starting point for this topic is the differentiation between the different types of displacements based on ancient and modern diasporas. Next, it will be analyzed how displacements appear in literature, forming what Braga and Gonçalves (2014) conceptualize as diasporic literature. No less important, structural racism constitutes a form of ideology, used as a strategy of domination, becoming one of the causes of social, political and, mainly, economic exclusion, by classifying and segregating people by race, preventing them from have access to the minimum resources necessary for survival. For literary analysis, the following works by Conceição Evaristo will be used: The novels Ponciá Vicêncio (2003); Alleys of Memory (2017); Lullaby Big Boy (2022) and the collections of short stories: Olhos D’Água (2016) and Insubmissas Tears of Women (2016). The works of Rita Segato (2003; 2016; 2018; 2021; 2022) will be used as a theoretical basis; Sueli Carneiro (2005; 2011); Cuti (2010); Lélia Gonzalez (1988); Beatriz Nascimento (2018); Angela Davis (2016); Heleieth Saffioti (1999; 2016); Edward W. Said (2007; 2003); William Safran (1991); Robin Cohen (2008); David Chariandy (2006); Cláudio Braga and Gláucia Renate Gonçalves (2014), among others, will be used as a theoretical basis.
