Abstract:	The conservation of architectural heritage involves a process of analyzing the property over time and aims to maintain its heritage value. It is often observed the existence of conflicts between the conditions of degradation of the property and the maintenance of its equity value, indicating difficulties regarding the proposition of conservative actions that can generate the least possible impact on such values. The objective of this paper is to present the challenges of integrity within the context of modern heritage conservation actions and to analyze the case of the eixo Rodoviário Sul viaduct in Brasília in relation to its conditions of integrity and valuation. In the case of the viaduct, priority was given to reconstruction actions aimed at restoring a new condition of integrity that would directly impact the aspects of valuing the asset. It is concluded that, for there to be a beacon of conservation actions towards the maintenance of the patrimonial value, it is necessary that the aspects of significance, authenticity and integrity can be measured in a practical sense through the definition of the valuation attributes of the asset and its aspects of authenticity.
