Abstract:	The present study had as its theme the prevention of dengue, zika and chikungunya arboviruses through Information, Education and Communication (IEC) practices that are developed in schools in the Federal District, Brazil (DF) that have joined the School Health Program (PSE). The epidemiological scenario of these arboviruses in Brazil and in the DF highlights the need for early measures to combat Aedes aegypti and prevent eventual epidemics. It is understood that the PSE is a potentiating instrument as it aims at the permanent integration and articulation of education and health and aims to contribute to the integral formation of students through actions of promotion, prevention and health care. In 2017, actions to combat Aedes Aegypti were included within the Environmental Health actions of the PSE due to the epidemiological situation of that period and the importance of developing an alternative that works effectively to combat the mosquito. In the course of this work, we sought to know the practices to combat arboviruses described in the main databases in the health area, as well as those that are developed in public schools in the DF that joined the PSE. In this way, the research sought to answer the following question: What are the IEC practices developed in schools in the DF for the prevention of arboviruses from the didactic material “All Against Dengue”? (In Portuguese, “Todos Contra Dengue”) It is a pedagogical material adopted by the Department of Education as a subsidy for the teacher's work. Data on IEC actions were requested from the Federal District Government, and, in addition, a survey (virtual form) was carried out in schools to learn about the reality of the Program and the respective IEC practices. In addition, two technical-pedagogical materials and a scientific article related to the topic were prepared. The findings of this work indicate a gap in studies published in the main health databases involving both the PSE and the prevention actions of arboviruses, as well as the need for the Department of Education of the DF to intensify the dissemination of the guide “Todos Contra a Dengue” and encourage the use of this pedagogical material.
