Abstract:	This thesis has as its object of investigation the National Program for Access to Technical Education and Employment (Pronatec), launched in 2011, as an expression and part of the policy for professional education implemented within the scope of the Secretariat of Professional and Technological Education (Setec) of the Ministry of Education (MEC). It is proposed as a general objective to analyze professional education having Pronatec as the materialization of a public policy that put into effect a management model and conception of training for work, which was established from a pattern of reproduction of professional education. Having as specific objectives: a) to analyze the professional education policy from 2003 to 2010 of the Lula administrations, based on the National Qualification Plan (PNQ) and Decree 5.154/2004, making its historical, legal-political and economic reconstruction; b) to analyze the reconfigurations and conceptions of professional education management, from 2011 onwards, in the Dilma administrations, considering the governmental actions that were delineated from the demands of the productive sector, in a process of deepening the systemic structural crisis of capitalism; c) understand the conception of the professional education policy that was materialized in Pronatec, the training priorities and its management model, relating them to the deepening of the systemic structural crisis of capitalism; d) apprehend the influences of the autocratic-bourgeois logic of the State in the management model of professional education, pladng the analyzes based on a pattern of reproduction of professional education, as an expression of the structural dualism of Brazilian education in its historicity. The problematization of this thesis is that there was a pattern of reproduction of professional education, structured through an autocratic-bourgeois logic, which was present in the structuring of Pronatec. The historical-dialectical materialist method, in its concreteness, supported the theoretical-methodological bases, both of document analysis and interviews, with the categories hegemony and reproduction, marking the object categories that conducted the analyses, such as public and private, work and education, bourgeois autocracy, and structural dualism of Brazilian education. As a result of the thesis, it was pointed out the existence of an autocratic-bourgeois logic that permeates MEC's management, establishing priorities in public professional education policies, such as Pronatec, shaping its dynamics based on a pattern of reproduction of professional education. Thus, this research is placed in the perspective of understanding the pattern and model of professional training in progress in the country, interpreting it from a singularity, Pronatec, seeking to unveil the paths that are being set for professional education policy, thus establishing, the meanings for the world of work of the ongoing transformations, highlighting the interests of the capitalist system in education
