Abstract:	In this thesis, we present a study of the verbal voice in the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), considering the reflexive voice and the reflexive reciprocal voice. We assume that the grammatical structure of natural languages is determined by the Universal Grammar (UG), as proposed in Chomsky (1986; 1995), regardless of whether it is manifested in the aural modality or in the visual modality. In the analysis of the verbal voice, we start from the theory of argument structure and its realization in the clause structure, considering monotransitive and ditransitive verbs as well as (inergative and unaccusative) intransitive verbs, In the analysis of reflexivity and reciprocity, we assume the binding theory in the interpretation of reflexive and reciprocal anaphors and we demonstrate that the Libras displays the restrictions found in Aural Languages, as described in Chomsky (1986; 1995). Regarding the syntactic and the semantic properties, we assume the formal features and the mapping of the thematic grid on the clause structure, as proposed in Raposo (1992), Mioto et al. (2007), Kenedy (2013), Cançado (2008), Cançado and Amaral (2016), among others. As for the clause struture and the properties of reflexive and reciprocals in the Libras, we take into consideration the analyses and the data collected in the specialized literature (Ferreira-Brito 1995; Felipe 1998; Quadros 1999; Quadros and Karnopp 2004; Ferreira; Salles 2020) as well as the data provided by deafs in experimental context and in situations of expontaneous use of the language. We found out that the reflexive as well as reciprocal voice are expressed in the Libras by means of specific pronominal categories which occur as free and afixal morphemes, which are realized either by the orientation of the movement in the structure of the sign or by the use of the two arculated hands, com with simultaneous movement or not.
