Abstract:	Sexual behavior matters and sexuality in general have been widely debated in electoral processes around the world, especially since the international economic crisis started in 2007/2008, being a characteristic of politicians and far-right groups. In Brazil, in the 2018 elections, this process was widely expressed, when an important dispute about sexual behavior and the organization of sexuality and gender occurred, involving the use of fake news in order to disseminate moral/sexual panic targeting gender diversity and sexual orientation. This is a research on the meanings of sexual policy of conservative orientation defended by the then presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro – and his supporters – during the 2018 election campaign in Brazil - in which Bolsonaro was elected - in the landmarks of the mass psychology of the psychosocial and political phenomenon of bolsonarism. The then candidate Jair Bolsonaro and his allies developed a conservative campaign that mobilized affections and achieved political engagement of supporters, in addition to winning votes. Through a study on the importance of sexual themes on the bolsonarist propaganda standards, it was made a qualitative analysis of the multiple determinations of the meaning of the sexual dispute of bolsonarism, set in the political and economic situation of the country, primarily in the period that extends between the years 2014 and 2018. It was found that the defense of a sexual policy of a conservative type made by bolsonarists politicians is in line with geopolitical and economic interests of the majority fractions of the bourgeoisie group that supported the 2016 coup d'état – which deposed the elected president of Brazil Dilma Rousseff – and boosted an agenda of counter-reforms in the Brazilian state that has been taking away rights won by the struggles of the working class, aiming a new standard of exploitation of the labor force in the country, as well as its repositioning in the international division of states. Furthermore, it was found that the reactionary sense of sexual policy advocated by Bolsonaro is in close relation with the authoritarian course on the Brazilian political regime expanded since the 2016 coup. Finally, it was observed the importance of the agitation of sexual themes, as well as the expressions of sexual repression in society, especially in the middle classes, for the conformation and mobilization of Jair Bolsonaro support base, configured in a mass movement treated by bolsonarism. Therefore, it was considered that, in order to overcome the reactionary course on the sexual policy applied in the country, strategies are needed that address the Brazilian sociosexual dispute based on a proletarian program for a free and healthy sexual regime in society, tied to the proletarian interests of organizing the production and distribution of wealth, as well as the political relations in society.
