Abstract: The present paper purposes a reflection on how the Covid-19’s pandemic highlights the biopolitics operating in our society. Having as starting point the Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben’s questionings, we discuss the impact of the pandemic situation in our daily lives, in the labor world, and in our society as a whole. We intend to discuss Agamben’s political philosophy while theorizing the state of exception and his fidelity to his own theory even though we are living a catastrophic reality of a virus that kills and is spreading all over the planet. This article intends to highlight which biopolitical projects are being facilitated, and that in the current crises many biopolitical decisions are being made. These decisions affect our bodies. The article concludes in a call for we all keep being vigilant, because it is inevitable that bioethical and biopolitical decisions are to be made in the pandemic moment.
