| Abstract: | The objective of this study is to present and analyze a clinical intervention device in young people deprived of liberty for getting involved in violent acts. To this end, the researchers studied the relationships between adolescent violence and the weaknesses of primary connections; the relationships between the passage to the violent act and the work of reflexivity; the collective connection through violence as one of the subjective and sociopolitical effects of modes of sociability in today's societies; the effects of the extermination policies on the connections teenagers make regarding life; the subjective repercussions arising from institutionalization processes; and interstitial practices as interventional possibilities in contexts of closed institutions. Violence in adolescence is understood as a response to the fragility of the feeling of security and existence, as well as a difficulty in the process of building a reflective interiority that makes it possible to think about what is acted upon. Socioeducational institutions are thought of as total institutions, whose treatment is standardized and based on the homogenization of human behaviors. Therapeutic mediation devices, on the other hand, are based on the understanding that the needs of the selfconcern everything that the self needs to make its connection, appropriation and symbolization work. In this regard, it is proposed in this study that the lien is the foundation of adolescent care devices, and that this connection should occur in a malleable environment, in interstitial spaces. This study was performed with a qualitative research approach and prioritizing a clinical approach, based on the psychoanalytical theoretical framework. The field of investigation was constituted as a concrete space of intervention and collective production and, therefore, intervention research was chosen as a method for construction and access to knowledge. The activities took place in an inpatient unit for adolescents in the Federal District (Brazil), and involved approximately 35 young men, aged between 18 and 20 years. The free interactions, the therapeutic groups, the records in the researchers' field diaries, as well as the audiovisual and written records produced by the youngsters, were constituted as fundamental methodological resources. The results were presented in three articles: 1. "The liaison work and reflexivity in adolescents in socioeducational measures: an analysis of a care device", in which the device was analyzed and presented. This was guided by the notions of time and connection, and was organized into three stages: connection time with each other and the creation of demand; connection time with the history and reflexivity; and connection time with the collective and cultural objects; 2. "The psychic and social connection of adolescents in socioeducational measures: the lives that don't matter," where the researchers sought to understand how the connection with violence appears in the lives of young boys, and to analyze the meanings they attribute to what in the social fabric seems to state that there is no positive value to their existence, meaning their lives or deaths do not seem to matter. The results of these analyzes are discussed in two categories: “I did not die or eat, I befriended hunger”; and “Prison time is long but not eternal, it makes you shiver, but it is not intimidating”. 3. "The institutional interstices and the possibilities of socioeducational work", in which intergroup and intersubjective connections established with the different groups existing in the socioeducational institution are analyzed, in order to think about the possibilities of interventions in the context of institutional establishments, from interstitial practices. |
