Abstract: Introduction – Parasport seeks to include people with disabilities from changes in rules, methods and materials. For young people with disabilities paraporting is an important form of social participation and, in addition, the possibility of a profession and various aspects can determine the form and level of participation of these individuals, including environmental factors. As reference, the environmental factors described by the International Classification of Functioning (ICF) were used. Objectives: To search the literature for scientific evidence on the main environmental factors related to juvenile sports and to investigate and analyze the environmental factors of adolescents with disabilities and participation in sports; Method - 16 adolescents who practiced paraports were interviewed based on the search for evidence, a descriptive study and correlation between variables. The variables studied were the environmental factors described in the ICF and participation in sports. The main instruments used were user questionnaire, ATDPA, Quest 2.0 and Abep. Results: It is noticed that the amount of support and relationship received is inversely proportional to sports participation. The environment is strongly correlated with sports participation, functioning as a facilitator when there is an accessible environment. The use of assistive technology (AT) has a strong correlation with sports, but there is still little availability of materials, lack of knowledge and inappropriate use in sports. There are few public policies focused on sports and few adolescents use them, although there is a strong correlation between policies and participation in sports. There is still little correlation between attitudes and sports participation, but self-confidence and desire to participate act as a facilitator.
