Abstract:	Adolescent misconduct is a worldwide social problem. Understanding your motivations can be a path to social integration. This mixed study aimed to map the values and life projects of young offenders in order to develop a pedagogical intervention to promote prosocial values. A sample of 404 adolescents complying with a judicial restraint measure in the Federal District, Brazil, responded to the survey. All were men, with a mean age of 17.26 years (σ = 1.25), with average school delay of 4 years, coming from regions of greater social vulnerability. Confirmatory factor analysis and multidimensional scale confirmed the theoretical model: Stress-1 = 0.141; DAF = 0.980; TCC = 0.990. The predominant values of the sample were: Self-transcendence (4.61) and Openness to Change (4.63). The Descending Hierarchical Classification of the text segments of the answers to open-ended questions about Dreams / Life Projects and Repentance / Counseling suggested that participants wanted to be trained to havea profession, personal fulfillment and life improvement; and expressed dismay at the realization of these dreams and projects. Through the intervention, a concomitant triangulation was performed by autobiographical narratives to change values associated with prosocial and ethical attitudes and a non-parametric hypothesis test on the effect of the intervention on possible changes in adolescent values in a Distrito Federal’s freedom restriction unit. The sample consisted of 8 adolescents during four months, with 26 meetings, seeking to reinforce by biographical self-reports values associated with prosocial and ethical attitudes. After intervention, nonparametric post-impact tests were performed. The null hypothesis was confirmed in 18 values and in the 4 dimensions of the theoretical model. The Wilcoxon Test identified a significant increase (p <0.05) for the Domain Power Value, associated with aggressive attitudes, suggesting environmental toxicity to promote prosocial attitudes. The results are in line with studies on adolescent values, and suggest that adolescents have values similar to those found in any other adolescent; point to the importance of pedagogical interventions that collaborate in the social reintegration of these young people; the need to review practices developed for greater prosocial activation in the socio-educational environment; and closer approximation of pedagogical practices developed there with the motivations and personal needs of adolescent offenders.
