Abstract:	The research assumes the existence of a dialectic relation among knowledge, information and citizenship in the interface between Communication and Education. From a collaborative workshop with teachers of a public school in Distrito Federal, a profíle is traced showing the 4 categories that vary from a no criticai and without capacity to innovate the teach-leaming process profile (Profíle A) to a “EDUCOMUNICADOR” (Profíle D), the one that is criticai, the one that has abilities to work with the resources from media and is ready to innovate. Two intermediate leveis had been listed between the profiles A and D: Profile B in which the educator does a criticai reading of these ways; however, he doesn’t have abilities to use them in a prearranged way; and, Profile C in which the educator uses the ways critically, and also has abilities to deal with the media technologies but, he doesn’t have any ability to innovate. The theoretical referential suggests and debates the subject reception, the functionality of the jomalistcs news, the news as knowledge and its differences, the EDUCOMUNICATION, the world interpretation, the knowledge complexity, the citizenship and the access to information, the multiculturalism and the continuous process of teacher training.
