Abstract:	The manga is a comic strip written for the Japanese style and read backwards. I arrive in the country in the 1960s and only after 2000 became popular, especially for the younger class of the Brazilian population. In Brazil, the teaching of Physics through Manga emerged from 2009, as a new teaching proposal. The same has become a pedagogical tool that attracts students' attention, approaching physical concepts with humor and capturing their attention. The present work consists of the construction and use of the manga addressing the content of Magnetism for the 3rd year of High School. It was elaborated through two didactic sequences: (i) the construction of the manga by the students and (ii) the application of the same to the students who did not participate in the construction process. The goal is to present a new way of teaching Physics, especially the content of Magnetism, through an artistic-cultural form, close to the reality of the adolescent. Through this resource, students are led to obtain a qualitative knowledge of magnetism, following a historical approach. The methodology used in the first moment is based on the valuation of student participation in the teaching-learning process, based on Paulo Freire's theories. From the construction of the script, , researchs of the topics covered in manga, clothing and design, always considering the student as the protagonist of the whole process. In the second moment, the methodology used is guided by Vygotsky 's socio interactionist theory that values and uses the environment so that the student builds his group knowledge with the participation and cooperation of all.
