Abstract: The main objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between dengue and socio-spatial inequalities in the Federal District (DF), Brazil, using spatial analyzes and socioenvironmental indicators related to this disease. The methodologies used to analyse these datas were the elaboration of maps of the number of cases and incidence rates, the geostatistical analysis of the Global and Local Moran Indexes and the construction of thematic maps of socio-environmental indicators. The results showed a recurrence of areas with the highest number of cases and highest rates throughout the studied period. The results also showed there were high incidence rates in rural areas. The results of the Global Moran Index showed that in epidemic years dengue incidence rates had a clustered pattern. In the other years, there are no spatial autocorrelation and the distribution is random. The Local Moran Index results allowed the identification of areas with significant clusters. About the socioenvironmental indicators, it was possible to verify that in the urban areas the indicators that were most related to dengue were the low average monthly income associated with a high number of people per household. In rural areas, the most related indicators were the percentage of households with no water supply. The conclusions are that, in DF, dengue is unevenly distributed, reaching more areas with lower income and less access to urban infrastructure.
