Abstract:	The present paper consists of a possibility of Theatre Arts research that uses mediation practices as a tool. Its goal is to defend mediation as dilation of the senses, mainly of the aesthetic experience, as well as to invent and present ways for said dilation and recognize - with basis on aesthetic pedagogic experiences - in which moment the rupture of mediation happens, that is, when it acts as scenes of dissent. Finally, the paper seeks to point out how mediation distances itself from its purposes, making impossible the experience and dilation. Dilation comes from a few sources: by narrative production, by similarity production, and by making closer the relationship between real and fictional - the former having larger emphasis in this research. Included in the conceptual focus are the experience of sight in Georges Didi-Huberman, the experience of Jorge Larrosa Bondía, the aesthetic and political notions of Jacques Rancière, the concept of narrator developed by Walter Benjamin, the idea of mediation of Flavio Desranges, the aisthesis of Beatriz Medeiros, and the inventive learning of Virginia Kastrup. Besides the afore mentioned authors, Jorge das Graças Veloso, Maria Lúcia Pupo, Biange Cabral, Clarice Lispector, Roland Barthes, among others, compose the theoretic state-of-the-art in the paper. Two sources beyond the literary selection were used for the research's development: the filming of the project Mediato Formação de Espectadores (2014) with four public high schools of the Federal District, and semi-structured interviews of 2015 with participating students and teachers. The afore mentioned project will be analyzed in this paper in order to investigate what was coherent with mediation's purposes and actually contributed towards the dilation of the senses and the aesthetic experience, and what can be reevaluated and restructured in order to be useful. Through analysis of the records of the Mediato project and interviews, studies of the authors, and mainly through the author's journey, it has become possible to delineate an understanding of mediation that follows the same principles of the aesthetic experience, distancing itself from the categories that make impossible the experience, such as: information, opinion, explanation, obligation, and ethical objective. Similarly, this journey has made it possible to demonstrate how mediation may serve and dilator of the aesthetic experience. In a final analysis, the researched confirmed that the Mediato project did not fully consider the concept of mediation defended in the paper, however, its incongruities served as stimulators for reflection, which allowed its deepening.
