Abstract:	Society has gone through constant changes in its structure since it started to act inside a digitally connected network. The systemic transformation (not only technological) has altered the organizational processes in the social field, and it is clear that the educational area could not be different from that. Thus, this scientific investigation aimed to develop an Information and Media Literacy course (LIM) for Primary Education teacher’s continuing training, in accordance to Design Thinking for Educators and in the Experience Learning approaches. The course contents were developed within the Maker movement and Hands on strategies, based on the innovative, creative and classroom-disruptive principles and initiatives in education, such as blended learning (flipped classroom) and gamification. For this purpose, this qualitative research used the systemic paradigm through action-research and instruments, such as group semi-structured interviews, challenge-activities, coaching groups and online mentoring, among others. The objective was to point out LIM importance and efficiency on the teacher’s education and its effects inside the classroom, as well as to approach the education inserted in the 21st century context, which requires a certain literacy on informational and media flows, creativity and innovation in the social, economic and cultural practices inside a networked society. The Information and Media Literacy has been shown as a study field that is intrinsically related to the learning process, especially in terms of strong attitudinal issues towards the improvement of informational processes in the most varied media and of further transformation into required knowledge in decision taking. From that point of view, LIM has been presented as a basic foundation for educators to change the traditional educational processes for a more contemporary model when they are able to efficiently surpass the route of mandatory transformation in the networked society, in which path is full of hope, uncertainties, hazards and options that implicate new learning and educational processes from the conscientious and intentional use of media and information.
