| Abstract: | The pedagogical work with students with autism has caused significant concerns among teachers who perform in public schools and private schools. Against this background, many teachers have been engaged in this work, looking from a paternalistic vision care, bring it to the standards of student learning uniformed historically in society. However, the paradigm of the medicalization of society present in schools has directed the look and the goals of teaching students with autism to their diagnosis framework that has been placed in front of the student in his subjective constitution and his singularities. These factors have resulted in the standardization of behavior and ways of being of those students who remain at the mercy of conditions and teaching practices aimed at homogenizing teaching students with autism. These students have remained in school contexts for years confined in attendance that do not recognize them as potential subjects learn repeating activities that do not mobilize them to produce their own learning strategies. Thereby, it’s needed to make investigations that indicate the weaknesses of such practices and produce reflections that move the faculty to enable them to understand their historical, social and subjective social status in the constitution of subjectivity schools and, from that point of view, let them look at the student as individuals historically and subjectively constituted and constituents, also the learning contexts of public and private schools. In this context, based mainly on the Theory of Subjectivity, by González Rey, and the theoretical contributions of Orrú, Vygotsky and Paulo Freire conducted the research, with the aim of analyzing the social subjectivity in the process of setting up and configuration in school learning contexts for students with autism, regarding the pedagogical practices of teachers. For that, we used the interpretive construction method, supported the principles of Qualitative Epistemology, which conceives intelligible knowledge production as a unique and constructive-dialogic process of interpretation of the researcher. Survey participants were teachers of a public school and a private school in Brasilia who were working with students diagnosed with autism. During the survey period, we used the conversational dynamics, observation and phrases as the complement of instruments for production of information. Overall, the school contexts of students with autism exhibit subjective elements that constitute and shape the social subjectivity of the school which express the embodiment of symptomatic picture of autism in schools, which has defined, focused and institutionalized pedagogical practices based on belief in the pedagogical actions of medicine from individuals diagnosed with autism. The personification of diagnosis have prevented teachers from recognizing a part of the learning process not mobilizing teaching strategies that enable learning situations for students, exempting itself a protagonist of a process that will break with the constraints and practical position homogenizing with students with autism. |
