Abstract:	This dissertation is the result of a qualitative research approach (descriptive and interpretative) and aims to describe and interpret discursive practices of online verbal interactions among teenagers from vulnerable social classes, which is reinforced by their own speeches about their interaction with the Internet. The basic theoretical framework involves the external dimension of language based on the Critical Discourse Analysis, proposed by Fairclough (2001, 2003) as well as its internal dimension, that is, the linguistic system within the parameters of the Systemic Functional Linguistics from Halliday and Matthiessen (2004). Categories suggested from the Appraisal System model from Martin and White (2005) complement the discursive linguistic analysis, once they allow the combination of both language dimensions: the discourse, which makes language a social biding, focusing on its structures, especially, in terms of meaning and language macro-functions. The empirical data were gathered from two public primary educational institutions from the city of Ceilândia involving students aged between 14 to 16 years old, all of them local residents. The methods used on the generation of data, considered as a netnographic approach, were essay writings, posts, and semi-structured interviews, carried out with the teenagers, whose online interactions constituted the object of observation, recorded in field notes. The achieved results from this research suggest that the relationship with/on the Internet involves emotions that are intensified in real life. On the other hand, it is possible to identify a highlighted humanization towards the computer (Internet), which, according to the data, is seen as a friend, a lonely hours companion, a supporter, or be it as a supporting actor in an inner world scenario claiming for changes. The research represents a contribution for future investigations that contemplate the educational sphere as to the access of knowledge through the Internet as a way of warning and, above all, as a support for social practices that may favor the neutralization of the social economical class aspect, the (re)construction of teenager social identities of those who live in the outskirts of large urban centers.
